Welcome

I started this blog for my friends and family who ask me how I have lost so much weight. Well, here it is. I am going to use this blog to try and help those of you who are looking to lose weight. I started at 307 pounds about 2 years ago. I had two great friends pushing me to loose weight and get healthy. Since then I have lost 92 pounds! I hope you all find this blog a good place to come and get some inspiration and helpful hints. Please feel free to post recipes and ideas on here.

What I ate Jan 1, 2012

Today was a good way to start my new eating habits.  Did I eat as well as I could?  Most certainly not.  Here is what I had today.  1.5 cups of multi-grain cheerios with a cup of 1% milk, a cup and half of coffee with non dairy creamer and sugar, A yogurt with a slice of wheat bread, a bag of popcorn, for dinner I made some thin spaghetti with roasted broccoli and garlic oil.  For my evening snack tonight I plan on having a couple pieces of chocolate with a cup of milk.  Not too bad today.  Tomorrow will be better since I am going to the store with my husband.  We will be loading up on veggies, beans and grains.  Hopefully I can come up with some good meatless meals for me and vegan meals for him.  It's going to be a challenging month, but I think we are up to it.
